How to Create a “Let it Snow” Dessert Table for your Holiday Party

I am thrilled to be able to share with you this spectacular “Let it Snow” Holiday Party created by Andressa of Twinkle Twinkle Little Party in partnership with Shutterfly. You are going to LOVE the attention to detail and easy to recreate ideas. Today we start with the dessert table - because let’s face it - no party is complete without the sweets, right?

This "Let it Snow" Dessert Table combines touches of modern with rustic with fun and functional stations for both adults and kids. There’s hot cocoa, delicious sweets and even fun crafts.

The snowman cake {created by Josephine Rees} takes center stage for this “Let it Snow” dessert table. And, since it’s always fun to think outside the box, an ordinary cake stand just wouldn’t do. So, a mini sled is used as the cake display to keep the winter holiday theme going strong along with tree branches being added to the snowman for a realistic touch.

Other yummy treats included holiday themed cookies designed by Blue Sugar Cookie & Co. And, there was even vanilla cupcakes sprinkled with coconut flakes for the feeling of a winter wonderland.

To showcase the mini bites in a way that didn’t crowd the dessert table with more platters and cake stands, Andrea displayed the mini sweets like a charcuterie board.

Moving onto the take home party favors - milk bottles were decorated with white boas and topped with a snowman hat. The same idea was used with the DIY take-home favor - plastic Christmas bulbs filled with mini marshmallows.

And, lastly - to complete the entire look of the dessert station - giant glittered snowflakes created the perfect backdrop. There was also a beautifully flocked Christmas tree and holiday garland to finish off the festive look.

Please share your favorite elements from this Let it Snow Dessert Table in the comments.

PS: Be sure to come back as I'll be sharing the design from the Kids Table next time.
