DIY Halloween Bat Wand

Today I have a fun Halloween DIY to share with you from Beth Kingston of Xyron. This Bat Wand is not only great for a costume accessory or a home/yard décor piece - it would be super fun to use as a shadow puppet on the wall.

Halloween Bat Wand How To:

Supplies:

• two foam bat shapes (or any shape desired)

• Xyron 5” Creative Station with Permanent Adhesive refill

• wooden BBQ skewer

• googly eyes

• Xyron High Tack Adhesive Dots (or liquid glue)

Instructions:

1. Run one foam shape through the Creative Station

2. Peel the foam shape from the backing and lay face down on the table (adhesive side up)

3. Lay the BBQ skewer flat against the center of the foam shape. The adhesive will hold it in place. TIP: If using for a wand – place the sharp end of the skewer in the center of the shape.  If using for yard/centerpiece décor – place the flat end of the skewer in the center of the shape.

4. Place the second foam shape on top of the skewer/foam shape on the table

5. Adhere googly eyes with adhesive dots or glue

6. Decorate with stickers, rhinestones, ribbon etc. if desired
